It’s been a while, hasn’t it? We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Onoco, working to continue developing and delivering the best app for new parents - and now all of a sudden it’s the end of March!
Here’s a peek at what’s been happening on and off the app in the past few months…
New Tracking Tools
In February, we released an exciting update which included the addition of growth charts, allowing you to submit measurements for your little one and quickly see how their development measures against other children of the same age using data taken from the World Health Organisation (WHO). It’s great to see so many families already using this feature!
Have You Con-Seedr-d This Opportunity?
In 2021, we were lucky to receive pre-seed funding for Onoco from VC firm Jenson Funding Partners, allowing us to kick start our growth and introduce some of the new features and tweaks you will have seen recently while also hiring new team members to help Onoco
reach new levels.
Now, we’re opening up the opportunity for everyone to get involved in the Onoco story through crowdfunding via Seedrs - allowing anyone interested in investing to support businesses with a mission, and share in their successes.
This crowdfunding will ensure we can keep delivering new features inspired by you - including the much anticipated Onoco AI, which will predict a child’s optimal next nap time based on their sleeping, eating and activity data - even quicker than before.

Onoco Across the Globe
If there’s something we love just as much as developing the Onoco app, it’s talking about it with other people to spread the word and reach even more families! Some of the features we’ve had in the past few months have included interviews with The Successful Founder, Seedrs and Tech Round; coverage from Yahoo Finance; being named as one of the UK leaders in transforming digital health by Speed Invest; recognition as an Impact Startup to Watch by Impact Shakers; inclusion from Mescla in their round-up of innovative baby products from across the globe; and being named as one of the best apps for new mamas in 2022 by My Baba!
Back to the UK again and we were pleased to work alongside MumsNet on an Instagram competition in February, to mark some of these exciting moments while giving followers an all important opportunity to treat themselves with an Amazon voucher! A Moment to Celebrate!
At the time of writing this, we are seeing over 6,600 monthly active users on Onoco with over 15,000 registered families, 750,000 feeding sessions logged, and over 350,000 naps tracked! Onoco only exists thanks to our users, so we’d like to take a moment to say thank you - we can’t wait to see what happens next…
A Growing Team
Since January, we have welcomed two new members to Onoco - so say hello to Jess and Jakub!
Jess is our new marketing manager who joined in February. She’ll be working on social media, community outreach, partnerships and press - so don’t hesitate to email her on jessica.higham@onoco.com if you have something you’d like to explore with us!
Jakub has joined us in March as our mobile developer, who will be responsible for implementing new features while enhancing our existing ones to ensure we’re continuing to provide the best possible experience for parents.
